|RE:||FACA/HUDL State Flag Football Clinic – January 5-7, 2016|
The 2017 FACA Flag Football Clinic is set for January 5-7, 2017 at the Hilton Daytona Beach Oceanfront Resort. The room rate is $99.00 per night plus tax, free self parking and $10 valet. Call (386) 254-8200 and make your reservations immediately. The cut-off datefor the FACA block of rooms is December 15, 2016. If you do not make your reservation before Dec. 15th you will pay a much higher rate. When calling the Hilton be sure you tell them you are with the FACA Clinic so you will get the FACA room rate. Our block of rooms will go fast. To be tax exempt, you must pay with a school check or school credit card. The check or credit card must have the same name as the tax exempt account. The hotel won’t accept cash, personal checks or personal credit cards for tax-exempt accounts.
Clinic registration is free for 2016-2017 FACA members and $70.00 for non-members. You may receive In-service Points towards the Coaching Endorsement or recertification requirements by signing up the first day of the clinic. Although the D.O.E. has approved the FACA Clinics as a means of meeting the new requirements, your county must also approve the FACA Clinics for you to receive the points. Be sure to check with your county office. There is no extra cost for those receiving the In-service Points.
State Chairman, Josh Saunders (Tampa-Robinson) has an outstanding line-up of speakers. This year he will offer a more interactive approach to the sessions with video breakdowns of playoff games in many sessions. You will get to see the how and why in the big games from some of the best coaches in the state.
Due to renovations in the South Tower, our sessions, vendors and registration will be across the street in the Ocean Center. Enter the building from the south side and follow signs.
If you have any questions please contact the FACA office (850-727-8117).
