President's Letter to Coaches

Coaches,

I hope all of you had a wonderful holiday, and everyone is safe and sound. After the FACA North-South Football All-Star game my wife Sherry and I traveled to the Jacksonville area and spent some valuable time with our three grandgirls, and of course, their parents. We had a great time, then came back to Bradenton for some rest, and golf with our daughter Leah. Next up is the annual January clinic in Daytona, and the Hall of Fame induction. At the winter Board of Directors meeting there I will be discussing the very difficult task of selecting a replacement for our Executive Director, Wink Barnette. After thirty-one years plus, Wink has announced he will be retiring two years from June. We want to have someone in place during the last year to work alongside Wink. In that way the transition will be much easier. Wink has asked me to Chair a five person search committee to complete this difficult task. After the Board of Directors meetings in January we will be announcing the qualifications for applying for the position. We will begin the search this summer, and hopefully bring them on board a year from June. I hope to see you at the January clinic.
